Bilbao announced that the team acquired 2020 Basketball Champions League champion Goran Huskic on loan from San Pablo Burgos. The Serbian center will be with Bilbao until the end of the season.
Huskic, 28, averaged 9.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in the Basketball Champions League plus 5.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in the Spanish ACB League in 2019-2020 before suffering a season-ending injury in January.
“He’s a very talented offensive player, both in the low post and in the high post,” was the comment of Bilbao’s sports management on the club’s website.
