Coming off two consecutive defeats in Italy’s LBA Serie A, Dinamo Sassari beat the Bakken Bears, 91-84, Wednesday extending its perfect Basketball Champions League streak to three games.
In-form Miro Bilan got the visitors going at the Aarhus Arena packing a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double. Justin Tillman with 15 points and Eimantas Bendzius with 14 also made strong contributions in the Gameday 5 affair.
Following a couple of home wins, Gianmarco Pozzecco’s side went on the road and jumped to 3-0 looking good to advance through the six-game format and Group A.
Deshawn Stephens was not enough for the team coached by Steffen Wich that dropped to 0-3. The former San Diego State player and European regular finished with a game-high 22 points. Red-hot Q.J. Peterson scored 18 points.
