Peristeri announced that Ioannis Bourousis has joined the team for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Bourousis, 37, played last season for Gran Canaria and averaged 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds over 25 games in the Spanish League.

“I feel very good. From the moment that coach Pedoulakis, with whom I had direct contact as we have also collaborated at Panathinaikos, invited me to join the team, I did not think too much to accept his proposal. I wanted to fight for another year at a high level. This is purely a matter of mood and love for the sport,” Bourousis said.

The 2015 EuroLeague champions and the two-time member of the All-EuroLeague team will be making his debut in the Basketball Champions League.

Additionally, more changes will happen to the roster as Abdul Gaddy and Jonathan Arledge are leaving. They will be replaced by a returnee in Ryan Harrow and Jaye Crockett.
