Peristeri announced they parted ways with Loukas Mavrokefalidis on Tuesday, a few months since penning their contract this summer.
The 36-year-old center will be making his return to Ionikos after one year, after playing in just one Basketball Champions League game with Peristeri this season, where he posted 10 points, 5 rebounds and one assist.
Mavrokefalidis also appeared in four Greek Basket League games this season, averaging 12.8 points, 5,5 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
