Rytas Vilnius announced the signing of center Keith Benson. He’s reunited with coach Donaldas Kairys with whom they worked together on Tsmoki Minsk in 2013-2014.
“It’s the kind of person we need most now,” Kairys said per Rytas. “Especially since I know Keith and he has played in our country and there many things that are also well known to him.” Benson has previous experience in the Lithuanian League with Neptunas Klaipeda, with which he played in EuroLeague.
Benson last played in the United Arab Emirates with Shabab Al Ahli Basket. He had previous stints with Aris Thessaloniki, Kalev/Cramo while playing briefly with the Golden State Warriors in 2012.
