Galatasaray announced the additions of three new players: Former NBA forward/center Amir Jefferson, point guard Travis Trice and center Assem Marei.
Jefferson, 27, signed a contract for the rest of the season. He played 18 games with the Orlando Magic in 2019-2020 and seven matches with the Lakeland Magic, averaging 25.9 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists with the latter.
27-year-old Trice spent the previous season with Strasbourg in France, posting 11.1 points, 3.6 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 16 Jeep Elite games.
Marei, 28, began 2020-21 with French EuroCup club Boulogne Metropolitans. He had 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in the EuroCup regular season to help Metropolitans advance to the Top 16 as the first-placed team in Group B.
