Zaragoza is signing forward Elias Harris for the rest of the season, the Spanish club announced. Harris will be competing again in the Basketball Champions League (he previously played in the competition with Brose Bamberg) and will be making his debut in the Spanish ACB League.
Harris, 32, is coming off an impressive run in Germany with MHP Riesen. He was averaging 15.6 points and 4.9 rebounds as the team had a 9 – 1 record to lead the BBL standings.
“He’s an experienced player who will help us in our inside game, as he can perform in both the ‘4’ and the ‘5’ positions. A proven player who comes to bring strength and balance to our inside game,” Zaragoza Sport Director Pep Cargol said, per the club.
On Zaragoza, Harris will meet his German national team teammate Robin Benzing.
