The Bakken Bears kept their Basketball Champions League playoffs bid alive with yet another solid display resulting in a lopsided win, 96-78, versus Galatasaray Tuesday evening at the Aarhus Arena.
Former VMI standout, QJ Peterson added on his explosive BCL campaign with 35 points in the Regular Season Gameday 9 contest. He sank 13/24 field goals, including 6/13 shots from beyond the arc, also produced seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Looking doomed down 0-3, the Danish outlet upset Dinamo Sassari on the road and jumped to 2-3 in Group A in a similarly convincing fashion. Up next, Iberostar Tenerife visiting paired with a chance to complete an improbable comeback and advance to the next round.
On to the losing end, dropping to 1-4 removed Galatasaray from the playoff hunt. Daryl Macon scored a team-high 20 points at Risskov.
