Nine games were on the program for this week of the Basketball Champions League and all the teams are left with one last match before the end of the regular season.
The big winners for this week have certainly been Happy Casa Brindisi, Turk Telekom, and SIG Strasbourg who advanced to the playoffs. Pinar Karsiyaka, Tofas, and Igokea made big steps towards a ticket as well, but they are far from done.
Turk Telekom had to bounce back from down 19 to get the win as they ruined coach Oded Kattash’s last game on Hapoel Jerusalem’s bench before moving to Panathinaikos while Brindisi also made from behind.
Strasbourg already had a playoff ticket thanks to Peristeri’s win over Rytas but they also beat Riga to take over the top spot in Group E and stop the Latvians from advancing, which has also kept Peristeri alive. The Greeks will have to beat Riga by more than three points in order to advance.
Brose Bamberg stayed the only undefeated team this season while Fortitudo Bologna stayed the only winless team, both coming from Group F.
