JDA Dijon logged a big 79-44 road win against Keravnos in the Basketball Champions League but their fate will be decided by the outcome of the duel between ERA Nymburk and Tofas.
Dijon improved to 4-2 and in Group B and will advance to the playoffs only if Nymburk – which has sealed a ticket – beats Tofas in the ongoing match. Keravnos has stayed winless in their BCL run.
Hans Vanwijn logged 22 points and ten rebounds for the French squad while Chase Simon scored 14 and David Holston 12 points.
For Keravnos, Brandon Rozzell was the only double-digit scorer with 12 points. Ahmaad Rorie helped with nine.
Keravnos held on early but Djon quickly overpowered them and was up by 14 at halftime (43-29). They didn’t leave anything to chance and kept increasing the lead until the very end.
