Hapoel Unet-Credit Holon claimed a spot in the next round of the Basketball Champions League via the win, 89-71, versus Cholet at the La Meilleraie on Wednesday.
Belgian forward Maxime De Zeeuw poured a team-high 21 points for the Israeli club visiting Cholet to complete its six-game schedule in Group C. Four more double-digit scorers for head coach Stefanos Dedas as C.J. Harris got 16, Tyrus McGee 15, Isaiah Miles 14, and Willy Workman ten.
The hosts needed the W and favorable tiebreakers but were blown out of contention falling way behind early in the Gameday 11 contest. Gerry Blakes packing a game-high 22 points and Yoan Makoundou at 20 points were not enough.
Hapoel Holon finished the Regular Season at 4-2 and will continue in a new group featuring three new opponents. The French outlet downed to 2-4 was eliminated.
