Knocked out of the Basketball Champions League playoffs, Rytas Vilnius topped SIG Strasbourg, 81-77, Tuesday wrapping up its first season in FIBA’s premier club continental competition.
Keith Benson for large stretches dominating the paint produced 17 points and nine rebounds in the Regular Season Gameday 12 fixture. Ryan Boatright scored 16 points and Arnas Butkevicius added 14 points.
Bonzie Colson went for a game-high 23 points for the team visiting the Avia Solutions Group Arena. Brandon Jefferson registered 15 points.
Lassi Tuovi’s side lost to Rytas Vilnius at home as well, but the 4-2 overall record secured first place in Group E. The hosts finished at 2-4.
