Brose Bamberg has had a great run in the Basketball Champions League regular season and they’ve sealed it with an 83-68 home win over Forttudo Bologna.
The German team will advance to the Round of 16 as the only team with a perfect record of 6-0 while Bologna finished it’s run in BCL this season without a win. Meanwhile, Pinar Karsiyaka beat RETAbet Bilbao in a direct clash for the remaining playoff ticket in Group F.
Coach of the winning side in Johan Roijakkers gave a chance to all 12 of his players, splitting minutes. David Kravish was the only double-digit scorer with 11 points while five players logged nine points – Mateo Seric, Devon Hall, Alex Ruoff, Christian Sengfelder, Michele Vitali.
For Bologna, Wesley Saunders scored 16 in addition to Adrian Banks’ 15 and Dario Hunt’s ten points.
