AEK BC announced that the club signed guard Daryl Macon to a contract for the rest of the 2020-21. Macon began the season with Galatasaray and parted ways with the Turkish team earlier in February.
In six Basketball Champions League games with Galatasaray, Macon averaged 19.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He had 15.7 points in the Turkish BSL League.
With AEK, Macon will continue his debut Basketball Champions League trip. The Greek team and 2018 BCL champion is competing in Group K of the Round of 16 and will be facing SIG Strasbourg, Turk Telekom and Nizhny Novgorod.
