Peristeri announced Sunday they have parted ways with head coach Argyris Pedoulakis.
56-year-old Pedoulakis was on to his fourth stint with the club after signing a deal with the Greek club earlier in the season, though Peristeri’s elimination from the Basketball Champions League playoffs (2-4 in the regular season) resulted in the termination of the co-operation.
Pedoulakis has spent several seasons with Peristeri, both as an assistant (1995-97) and as a head coach (2010-12, 2018-19, 2020-21).
UPDATE: Peristeri hired 50-year-old Sotiris Manolopoulos as the new head coach on Sunday. The former boss of several Greek teams including Panathinaikos and AEK returned to Peristeri after his 2004-05 stint.
