Brose Bamberg announced Friday an agreement with Norense Odiase on the early termination of their contract. The American center will join Science City Jena of Germany’s second division, as noted in the press release.
Odiase, 25, extended his pro career following Texas Tech to Europe and Bamberg last August. His 2019-20 campaign featured the Northern Arizona Suns and G League action.
This season, the young center put up 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per Basketball Champions League contest over three appearances. He also averaged 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per easyCredit BBL match.
Bamberg is part of the BCL playoffs as a member of Group L alongside Casademont Zaragoza, ERA Nymburk, and Dinamo Sassari. The top two teams will clinch a Final 8 berth.
