Casademont Zaragoza in full control defeated Dinamo Sassari, 95-83, in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Round 1 match held at PalaSerradimigni Tuesday.
A convincing display to open its Group L run was highlighted by Jonathan Barreiro and his 26 points. The Spanish forward connected in all six attempts from beyond the arc.
Rasheed Sulaimon and Dylan Ennis logged 14 points each. Jacob Wiley posted 13 points in his BCL return and Elias Harris added 10 points for the team confidently guided by Sergio Hernandez.
Gianmarco Pozzecco’s failed to effectively recover after a sluggish start producing an early 11-point lead for the visitors. Miro Bilan packing 26 points and Marco Spissu 24 of his own were not enough.
