Dinamo Sassari started off the game better (31-20), however, Casademont Zaragoza recovered and eventually got a convincing 105-88 home win in the high-scoring duel.
The Spaniards improved to 3-1 in the Basketball Champions League Group L and will have a chance to qualify on Thursday (April 1) against ERA Nymburk. Meanwhile, Sassari will have to beat Brose Bamberg on the same day if they wish to have any chances to advance going forward.
Dylan Ennis led the way with 18 points followed by Elias Haris with 17 and Rasheed Sulaimon with 16 points. Jacob Wiley had 14 points and eight rebounds.
On the opposing side, Ethan Happ and Miro Bilan logged 19 points and nine rebounds each while Eimantas Bendzius scored 16 and Jason Burnell 14 points.
