Nizhny Novgorod head coach Zoran Lukic signed a new two-year deal to remain in his position, the Russian club announced Monday.
“I feel very comfortable in Nizhny Novgorod. This is my city and my team. It presents me with the unique opportunity to combine the effort for wins with creativity,” he said, per the press release.
“I will gladly stay until my retirement,” he added wrapping up his comments on re-signing with the host of the 2021 Basketball Champions League Final 8.
Lukic, 49, took over his current role in 2017. His side made it to the quarterfinals of both the BCL and the VTB United League in 2020-21. The Serbian mastermind was named Basketball Champions League Best Coach.
