Basket Zaragoza announced that Jaume Ponsarnau will be the team’s new head coach. The former Valencia boss signed a two-year contract with the club to stay in Spain.
Ponsarnau joins Zaragoza after spending the last two seasons with Valencia. The team came one win away from making the EuroLeague playoffs and was eliminated by Real Madrid in the ACB semifinals.
With Zaragoza, Ponsarnau will coach in the Basketball Champions League for the first time in his career.
