UCAM Murcia is signing veteran guard Thad McFadden according to Eurohoops sources. The former Basketball Champions League Final Eight MVP and two-time champion with San Pablo Burgos will thus stay in Spain for a fourth straight season.
Burgos can match the offer that was made to the McFadden but that looks unlikely.
McFadden spent the last two seasons with Burgos and won back-to-back Basketball Champions League trophies, claiming MVP in the 2020 Athens Final Eight. In 2020-21, he averaged 10.1 points and 2.0 assists per game in BCL.
