Igokea has continued with the quick roster-building for the next season by adding yet another player early in the summer. This time around, it was to strengthen the point guard position with the addition of Anthony Markel Starks.
The Bosnian team parted ways with Jackie Carmichael earlier this month but also signed three new players – Stefan Djordjevic, Deshawn Stephens, and Nikola Tanaskovic.
Starks came from Russia, where he played for Avtodor Saratov over the last two seasons. The 30-year-old American guard averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game.
He had played for Georgetown College after which he built his career in Australia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Turkey and Poland.
