AEK is planning its roster for next season and bringing in power forward Eric Griffin with a one-year deal, as reported by SDNA and confirmed by Eurohoops sources, that is expected to become official when the team’s FIBA bans are resolved.
31-year-old Griffin spent the previous season with Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Israeli Winner League and was the first pick of newly-appointed head coach Stefanos Dedas, who has served Hapoel Holon in Winner League for the past two seasons.
Griffin posted an average of 17.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in Israel, across 25 games this past season.
