Back-to-back Basketball Champions League champion, Hereda San Pablo Burgos is interested in Viny Okouo, as reported by our own Chema de Lucas. The BCL champs aren’t the only one with the eyes on Okouo as Monbus Obradoiro has also been showing interest for the player.
Okouo, 24, became a free agent following his 2020-21 campaign at Acunsa GBC. He logged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per ACB game in his latest season playing in Spain.
The 2017 7DAYS EuroCup champion with Unicaja Malaga joined Nevezis spending the 2019-20 season in Lithuania. His Malaga stint stretched from 2015 to 2019.
Burgos was drawn in Group H of the BCL Regular Season on Wednesday. Besiktas Icrypex, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, and Rytas Vilnius were sent on their path.
