Baxi Manresa added Marcis Steinbergs to its Basketball Champions League roster. The Latvian prospect inked a 2+2 contract, as announced by the Spanish team on Thursday. Eurohoops had reported on Manresa shortlisting him.
Steinbergs, 19, spent his last couple of seasons developing at Herbalife Gran Canaria. He earned his first two ACB appearances last season.
On other transfer news, Casademont Zaragoza inked Belgian Hans Vanwijn for the next two seasons. He is coming off a solid season at JDA Dijon with 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per appearance across all competitions.
