VEF Riga re-signed Alexander Madsen until the end of the 2021-22 season, the Latvian club announced Monday.
Madsen, 26, is set for his third Basketball Champions League campaign with his side recently drawn in Regular Season Group D alongside AEK and Falco Szombathely, plus one more team jumping out of the qualifiers.
The Finnish forward averaged 6.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per BCL appearance last season.
The team has also retained Kristers Zoriks, Artis Ate, and Emils Krumins, as announced earlier in the offseason.
