Manresa is reinforcing for the upcoming season and is close to signing Nigerian/Australian forward Chima Moneke, per Eurohoops sources.
25-year-old Moneke is part of the Nigerian selection to compete in Tokyo’s Olympics later in July, while the nation also beat Team USA in a preparation game on Sunday.
Moneke spent the previous season with Orleans in the French Jeep Elite, averaging 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 31 games played.
A UC Davis alumnus, Moneke has spent three seasons in the second division in France prior to moving to Orleans.
