AEK has secured the services of Quino Colom for the next season, as reported by our own Chema de Lucas. He was already linked to the Greek team.
Colom, 32, will make his way to the Basketball Champions League for the first time. He will also debut in Greece’s Basket League.
The experienced point guard split the 2020-21 season between Crvena Zvezda mts and Baskonia. He averaged 7.3 points per ABA League game, 3.2 points per ACB appearance, and 6.6 points per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contest.
His previous teams include Valencia, Bilbao, Estudiantes, Fuenlabrada, and Zaragoza from Spain, and also UNICS Kazan from 2015 to 2018. He played under current AEK head coach Stefanos Dedas at Bahcesehir Koleji in 2018-19.
