ERA Nymburk continues its rebuild ahead of the 2021-22 season with the addition of Gorjok Gak. The Australian center penned a one-year contract with an option for one more season, the team announced Friday.
Gak, 24, will launch his pro career in the Czech Republic powering the Basketball Champions League outlet. He is fresh out of California Baptist averaging 13.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.7 blocks per NCAA match in his senior season. He was transferred from Florida prior to his final campaign in college.
The team led by new head coach Aleksander Sekulic has officially retained Martin Kriz, Lukas Palyza, and Petr Benda, and brought in Frantisek Vana this offseason.
Nymburk will compete in Group E of the BCL Regular Season against PAOK, Galatasaray, and Igokea.
