Vlado Jankovic moved on from AEK but will continue his career in Greece, this time around with PAOK, as the club announced a one-year deal with the player who will compete in the Basketball Champions League as well as the Basket League next season.

Meanwhile, Peristeri, which will have to get through the BCL qualifiers this year, announced that the team has reached an agreement with Dimitris Moraitis for the next two seasons.

Per PAOK:

PAOK OEM announces the agreement with Vlado Jankovic, who will sign a one-year contract with our team. We welcome Vlado Jankovic to the big family of PAOK.

Vladimir (Vladimir) Jankovic was born on March 3, 1990 in Belgrade, is 2m.02 tall and competes as a forward. He came to Greece at the age of two, when his father, the late Boban Jankovic, came to our country to play for Panionios.

The young Vlado started playing basketball from the team of Nea Smyrni and at the age of 17 he made his debut in the Basket League, while in the 2008-09 season he returned to Serbia and played in Mega Vizura.

Vlado Jankovic returned to Greece the following season and signed a four-year contract with Panionios (2009-13). In the 2012-13 season, he emerged as the most improved player in the league. In the same year he was included in the top five of the league.

Three seasons followed with Panathinaikos, with which they won the Greek championship in 2014, but also three Cups (2014-16).

In August 2016, he signed a one-year contract with Valencia, but a few months later, he was loaned to Aris, with whom he completed the 2016-17 season.

He returned to Spain and played in Andorra (2017-2018), while the following year he collaborated for the first time with coach Lykogiannis in Holargos. Their cooperation was harmonious and this was reflected in the numbers: 13.8 points, 5., 4 rebounds and 2.7 assists, Vlado Jankovic had on average that season.

For the last two years (2019-21) he played for AEK, with which he won the Greek Cup in 2020.

He was international with all the small National teams of Greece, with a decisive participation in great successes. More specifically, he has won two gold medals with the National teams U-20 (2009) and U-18 (2008) and two bronze medals with the National teams U-20 (2010) and U-19 (2009).

He is also international with the Men’s National Team (10 participations).

Per Peristeri:

KAE Peristeri announces its agreement with the athlete Dimitris Moraitis, who will wear the jersey of the organization for the next two years (2021-2023).

The 22-year-old guard will strengthen the “blue and yellows” in their obligations in the Greek championship, the Cup and the Basketball Champions League.

After signing his contract, Dimitris Moraitis said: “I am very happy to sign a contract with such a historic club as Peristeri. I want to thank the management and coach Sotiris Manolopoulos for the trust they showed me. For my part, I will do my best for the team to achieve its goals. I want to make a difference with Peristeri either in Greece or in Europe.”
