Yanick Moreira has signed a one-year contract to play for Peristeri next season, the team announced Wednesday. Eurohoops had reported on his comeback.
Moreira, 29, returns to his 2019-20 team after a one-year stint at AEK. Last season, he put up 14.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per Basketball Champions League contest, and 13.0 points per appearance in Greece’s Basket League.
The Angolan center continues in both the BCL and Greece, but this time around will attempt to lead Peristeri to a Regular Season berth through qualifiers. He will start his fourth Champions League campaign in the second qualifying round.
The Greek club has already added Chad Brown, Dimitris Moraitis, Dimitris Katsivelis, and Josh Hagins, while Terran Petteway re-signed this offseason.
