Hungarian big Gyorgy Goloman jumps in for Falco Szombathely penning a one-year contract, the team announced.
Goloman, 25, will debut in the Basketball Champions League. His new side was drawn in Group D of the Regular Season along with AEK, VEF Riga, and one more team surviving the qualifying rounds.
The newcomer previously played professionally in his home country attached to Egis Kormend in 2013-14. He went on to the NCAA joining UCLA between 2014 and 2018, then competed in the NBA Summer League, G League, and Japan, before making his way back to Europe for Spirou Charleroi last season. He registered 10.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in Belgium.
Also, Peter Veraszto will be returning from loan becoming a regular member of the team based in Szombathely, as noted in the press release. Marvin Clark was the first summer addition for the Hungarian club, while Szilard Benke, Boris Barac, Benedek Kovacs, and Abel Sovegjarto were re-signed.
