Former Charleston standout, Jeremy Simmons penned a one-year contract extension with Tofas, the team announced.
Simmons, 31, went for 9.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.7 steals per Basketball Champions League match last season. He will be back in the BCL with his side in Group F of the Regular Season along with SIG Strasbourg, Filou Oostende, and one more team coming out of the qualifying rounds.
Following his NCAA days with Charleston, he moved to Europe competing in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Georgia, Belgium, and Italy, before arriving in Turkey for the team based in Bursa.
He is the second player re-signing with Tofas after Tomislav Zubcic. The summer additions so far are Kasey Shepherd, Elgin Cook, and Pako Cruz.
