Adam Somogyi signed with Hereda San Pablo Burgos for the next season with the contract including an option for two more seasons, the team announced.
Somogyi, 21, powered Debreceni EAC of his home country Hungary the last two seasons. His stint was paired with his first appearances in the senior national team. This will not be his first experience in Spain, as he had moved to the country at a junior level competing in lower divisions.
The Basketball Champions League and ACB outlet also promoted 20-year-old guard Kareem Queeley to the senior squad led by new head coach Zan Tabak for the next season.
After two straight Basketball Champions League titles, the Spanish side is preparing for Regular Season action drawn with Besiktas Icrypex, Rytas, and EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Group H.
Steve Zack, Aleksej Nikolic, Marc Garcia, Suleiman Braimoh, Dani Diez, and Tyrus McGee have been added during the offseason, while Dejan Kravic re-signed.
