Benedek Varadi and Falco Szombathely have extended their contract until the end of the 2021-22 season, the team announced Monday.
Varadi. 26, has called Falco home for his entire pro career stretching towards the completion of a decade. His 2020-21 campaign generated 12.2 points, 5.4 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game across all competitions.
Before securing the captain’s services for one more year, the Hungarian club re-signed Szilard Benke, Boris Barac, Benedek Kovacs, and Abel Sovegjarto. Summer additions are Gyorgy Goloman and Marvin Clark.
The upcoming Basketball Champions League Regular Season will see Falco in Group D against AEK, VEF Riga, and one more team jumping out of the qualifying rounds.
