Galatasaray NEF continued with the roster additions for the upcoming season with Kerry Blackshear Jr who penned a 1+1 deal.

Born on January 28, 1997 in Florida, the player is 2.08 cm tall and plays in the forward position.
Coming from a family with a basketball tradition, Kerry started playing basketball at a young age, following the career path of his father and mother. After three years at Virginia Tech, he moved to his hometown of Florida for his senior year. He averaged 12.8 points and 7.5 rebounds in his last season with the Florida Gators.
After his college career, he signed his first professional contract with Hapoel Galil Gilboa in Israel. While averaging 14.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2 assists in the Israeli League last season, he also shot 41.7% from behind the three-point line.
Kerry Blackshear Jr. will play in Galatasaray NEF, which he describes as a ‘big step’ in his career in the new season.
