Baxi Manresa will keep Sylvain Francisco beyond the preseason and through the 2021-22 season, the team announced.
Francisco, 23, initially signed a preseason contract. Eurohoops had reported on his addition to the Spanish team preparing for the Basketball Champions League and domestic competitions.
The young French guard is up for his first experience outside his home country. Last season, he logged 14.7 points, 4.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per match in the French league as a member of Roanne.
The offseason has brought in Ismael Bako, Chima Moneke, Janis Berzins, Marcis Steinbergs, and Joe Thomasson for Manresa, while Rafa Martinez re-signed for 2021-22.
The team is heading to Group B of the BCL Regular Season to take on Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, Pinar Karsiyaka, and Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski.
