Brose Bamberg has signed point guard Frankie Ferrari to a one-year deal, the team confirmed Monday. Ferrari, 25, arrives in Bamberg from the Spanish Liga Endesa and BAXI Manresa, where he spent part of the 2020-21 season.
“I’ve always wanted to play for a great organization. I can now do that at Brose. The BBL is a strong league and I want to help us get back to where Bamberg once was and belongs – to the top. For this, I will do everything that is necessary. I am a ‘floor general’ who likes to put others in the limelight, but also locks myself up when needed”, commented Ferrari upon his signing.
The American guard began the previous season with Unicaja, where he posted 6.7 points, 1.7 assists and 1.3 rebounds across 6 games in the ACB, before moving to Manresa, with which he had averages of 11.8 points, 5.3 assists and 1.6 rebounds per contest in his second stint.
Ferrari began his career with Manresa in 2019 after going undrafted, before moving to Gran Canaria in summer 2020.
