Tobias Borg is returning to Lenovo Tenerife for the upcoming season, as reported by BasketNews’ Jonas Leksas and confirmed by Eurohoops sources.
Borg, 27, initially signed a deal with Prienai CBet of the Lithuanian League in late August though he’s moving back to Spain. The Swedish guard spent the last three seasons with Real Betis, and he posted an average of 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 35 Liga Endesa games in the 2020-21 campaign.
He made his first appearance with Tenerife in 2018 and he is now set to return to the Basketball Champions League for his second campaign.
Borg began his career with Swedish side Sodertalje Kings in 2010-11, before moving to Bilbao in the 2014-15 season.
UPDATE: Lenovo Tenerife officially announced the addition of Borg on Thursday.
