AEK Athens announced that Braian Angola has suffered a muscle fracture in the calf of his left leg. The recovery time hasn’t been disclosed but he is unlikely to return earlier than two weeks.
Angola played both games of AEK so far this season. He posted seven points, five assists, three rebounds against Olympiacos in the Greek League while he banked in 17 points in the Basketball Champions League against Falco Szombathely. AEK suffered a loss in both.
In the upcoming two weeks, AEK will face Larisa, Apollon Patras, and Aris in the domestic league while in BCL, they have only the duel against Treviso on October 19th.
