Nutribullet Treviso has been one of the biggest surprises so far this season in the Basketball Champions League as the debutant on the European stage has reached a perfect 3-0 record. Their latest triumph in Group D came against Falco Szombathely (1-2) with 68-60 on the scoreboard.
Falco was the team with a better start (15-7) but Treviso the side ahead at the end of the low-scoring first half with 32-27. Tomas Dimsa carried the team and the Italians sparked a 16-7 run after the break.
Dimsa finished the game with 19 points on 5-11 from deep while Giordano Bortolani added ten. Aaron Jones scored four points but also grabbed ten rebounds for the victors.
On the opposing side, Gyorgy Goloman scored 18 in addition to Akos Keller’s double-double of 11 points and ten rebounds.
