Unicaja and youngster big man Yannick Nzosa have agreed to a contract extension until the 2025-26 season, the Spanish club announced Monday.
Nzosa, 18, made his pro-debut with Unicaja last year in the Spanish Liga Endesa and this year he appeared for the first time in the Basketball Champions League.
Across 3 games in the BCL, the Congolese big has averages of 1.7 points, 2 rebounds in 11.5 minutes on the court, while he’s earning the trust of coach Fotis Katsikaris with each passing game.
2003-born Nzosa has slightly increased numbers in the ACB, with 2.4 points, 2.7 rebounds in nearly 13 minutes across 10 contests so far in the season.
