Greek side Lavrio Megabolt has signed shooting guard/small forward Terrance Ferguson to a deal, the team announced Tuesday.
Ferguson, 23, will land in Lavrio for his first-ever European experience, coming from the Philadelphia 76ers, where he spent the 2020-21 season.
The young guard/forward counted 216 NBA games (124 starts) across the last four seasons with Oklahoma City Thunder and the Sixers. In the 2020-21 campaign, he participated in 13 contests with limited time on the court.
In its first appearance in the Basketball Champions League, Lavrio is currently placed second in Group C behind Unicaja, with a 2-2 record and hopes to make the jump to the Round of 16. The Greek team will fight off JDA Dijon this Tuesday (14/12, 20:30 CET). A victory could determine a lot for their future in the current season for both clubs.
