Despite missing Vitor Benite and Dani Diez, the reigning champs Hereda San Pablo Burgos came out on top against Besiktas Icrypex with 82-75 on the road in the Basketball Champions League.
Burgos banked in 13 three-pointers which made the crucial difference with Kristian Kullamae making four out of four and Hayden Dalton adding three.
Kullamae finished with 12 points while Dalton had nine points, six rebounds, three assists. Tyrus McGee scored 15 and Julian Gamble 12 points.
For Besiktas, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 18 points and seven rebounds followed by Egehan Arna with 13 and Isaiah Whitehead with 12 points.
With this win, Burgos improved to 4-1 in Group H but will still have to beat Rytas Vilnius for the first place. Besiktas holds a 2-3 record and their destiny will be decided in the duel against EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
