Lavrio megabolt has been in bad form recently and JDA Dijon didn’t cut them any slack in the Basketball Champions League matchup. The French team logged a convincing 73-49 home win.
Dijon improved to 3-2 in Group C while leaving the Greek at 2-3. They also secured an advantage in the potential tiebreaker as Lavrio won the previous duel by two points (65-63).
David Holston led the way with 18 points and six assists while Rashard Kelly scored 13 and Khadeen Carrington 12 points. Dijon was up 24-12 already in the first quarter and once they hit the 20-point mark in the third period (60-40), there was no way back for Lavrio.
Dimitrios Kaklamanakis with 14 and Tyson Carter with ten points were the only double-digit scorers for the offensively struggling squad of the away team.
