BAXI Manresa announced that, after the initial COVID-19 case, six more players have registered a positive result.
The team’s upcoming game against Barcelona in the Spanish Liga Endesa has been postponed. Barca also has a coronavirus case among its ranks as Nigel Hayes has been sidelined.
When it comes to the Basketball Champions League, Manresa is scheduled to play against Hapoel Jerusalem on December 22nd and it remains to be seen if that game will be postponed as well.
The team also lost captain Guillem Jou to an Achilles tendon injury. Manresa has been undefeated in BCL and has one game remaining in the group stage while they hold an 8-5 record in Spain.
