Basketball Champions League postponed the Regular Season Round 6 games Baxi Manresa versus Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem and PAOK versus Igokea initially scheduled to be held Wednesday, 22 December.

Following the Return to Play Protocol established by BCL, the games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, 28 December, and Wednesday, 29 December, respectively.

UPDATE: The game between Manresa and Hapoel Jerusalem was further postponed and will be rescheduled for a date to be confirmed, BCL announced Monday (27/12).

Both the Spanish and Greek clubs have been facing respective COVID-19 outbreaks. They have reported multiple positive tests returned among players and coaching staff members. Domestic fixtures of both sides have been postponed as well.

Manresa has already clinched a berth in the Champions League Round of 16. The Israeli rival in Group B will be part of the Play-In Round scheduled to be held through the first three weeks of 2022 but can land the second or third seed and the attached home-court advantage or disadvantage, depending on the outcome of its visit to Pavello Nou Congost. Last Wednesday’s other Round 6 fixture featured Pinar Karsiyaka eliminating Arged BM Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski and moving into the Play-In.

PAOK was tied with Igokea m:tel and ERA Nymburk as all three teams have seven points in Group E. PAOK and Igokea will battle for the second seed with the losing side settling for the third seed as the Czech champions failed to take down Galatasaray Nef last Wednesday.

Due to the games being rescheduled, the remaining Play-In pairings will be determined after the initial closing date of the Regular Season.
