Besiktas Icrypex and EWE Baskets Oldenburg clash directly for a spot in the Basketball Champions League Play-In and it went to the Turkish team which logged an 88-72 win.
Trevon Bluiett was the crucial factor for the outcome with 19 points and quite a few crucial baskets in the fourth quarter. Kenan Sipahi scored 17 and Egehan Arna 16 points.
The game was far closer than the final score suggests as Besiktas had only a two-point lead at halftime (39-37) and Oldenburg made an 11-0 run to bounce back in the third quarter (57-58). However, Bluiett took over, sparked a 17-4 run and the hosts got a convincing win in the end.
For Oldenburg, Cameron Clark scored 18 and Tai Odiase 16 points.
With this win, Besiktas (3-3) secured the third spot in Group H, eliminating Oldenburg (1-5), and advancing to the Play-In in order to fight for a place in the Round of 16.
