In a game that didn’t pose much significance when it comes to the standings, Silas Melson led Kalev/Cramo to a close 72-70 home win against Tofas in the Basketball Champions League.
Tofas (4-2) was already safe at the top of Group F while Kalev got eliminated and will finish its run this season with a 2-4 record. Strasbourg and Oostende will go to the Play-In and their direct clash will decide from which position.
Melson banked in 23 points including the last five points of the game for Kalev. He was the only double-digit scorer for his team and also added seven rebounds while at it.
JeQuan Lewis added seven points and nine assists while for Tofas, Tomislav Zubcic scored 16 and Elgin Cook 13 points. Berk Ugurlu scored four points but also dished out eight assists and grabbed six boards.
