PAOK mateco announced that the team has signed Demetre Rivers until the end of the 2021-22 season, with the option to extend.
Rivers is well-known to PAOK as he was playing for ERA Nymburk this season, the Greek team’s rival Group E of the Basketball Champions League. The 26-year-old American guard averaged 11.5 points in BCL and scored 16 against PAOK in the game that was held in Prague.
Nymburk got eliminated in BCL but PAOK advanced to the Play-In series where they will face off against Filou Oostende or SIG Strasbourg, depending on the outcome of the Greek team’s final regular-season game against Igokea.
